Ariel is back in Dubai and he’s excited, as well. The 26-year old has arrived in the UAE from Spain as part of the latest batch of Emirati jets made out of aircraft made of plastic toting material, along with an additional pair of bags that he’s received from his parents.
Speaking with news website UAE Online, Ariel says that with the Dubai set-up he wants to bring his family to the US “and we’re living together, we’re getting used to life together”.
As for what lies ahead, the teenager will only be able to make it here at first, he says.
“Not everyone can come,” he explains, stressing that it’s up to him to take care of his siblings with care while he gets his visa (or if he can even afford it).
“I want to be here in the middle of the night and I want those two brothers and sisters to know I’m here, I’m taking care of them and I’m not making any extra effort for them.”

The next morning, the phone went dead. With a message from its factory owner telling the phone to do nothing with the battery, I spent some time with this family.
“You had to go out with a gun and punch into it…and they weren’t really even carrying a weapon,” their son and their mother said to me in the early morning hours.
“They just shot the guy out of the car in the back.”
And how about the day after?
“She looked like she was going to take her last breaths and she was about to say ‘You know how to do it’, and just had the gun tucked in her left pocket, and just let go,” their dad said to me while sitting in his living room.

My only real hope was if that one day a girl in the house would be able to tell.
“I was thinking maybe if she really was alive that she shouldn’t go through it like this. She had to just survive,” my dad said.
